| The individual cup for men and women will be held this year on Venezuelan Waters.Eight Countries will be present in pursuit of the best catches that will grant a place of honor in the podium.

Will be Hosting its 6th annual Treasure Coast Shootout Spearfishing Tournament
There is a saftey meeting on friday the 6th from 6-7pm that is when the final registration will end.
Tournament begins 7am saterday 7th and ends at 7pm that night.
Weigh in is on sunday the 8th at 9:30 to 11:30am

Freshwater Nationals

| This year's Freshwater National Spearfishing Championships are set for Lake McConaughy in Nebraska which is two hours northeast of Denver. You will be allowed two game fish (walleye, stripers, bass, catfish, etc.) per diver and this lake has 'em plus all the carp you can eat. I went to last years event which was held in Utah and I had a blast.
Here are the early details.
Freshwater Nationals
Location: Lake Mc Conaughy Nebraska, about 2 hours NE of Denver.
Date: July 1 2007
Details: 6 hour meet, 2 man teams, 1 division, boat or shore based, skin or scuba,
Cost: $100 per team includes entry, shirt, BBQ, lots of awards.
Total weight wins, unlimited Carp, 2 walleye, full fishing limits allowed on all other game fish: Cats, black bass, striped bass, white bass, whipers……
This is one of the most beautiful lakes I have dived in the US. The north shore of the lake is open camping on beautiful beaches, sand lots of it, just like Hawaii.
